The TAG Team is very familiar with the Kansas City area north of the river. We have compiled a list of some of our favorite places to eat and shop.
Favorite Movie Theater
"Although it's just south of the river, Ameristar Casino has great digital sound and you hardly ever have to wait in line for tickets. The theater has stadium seating and all the theaters are good-sized." –Elizabeth
Favorite Shopping Center
Zona Rosa got the majority of votes due to the great variety of stores and restaurants available there.
Favorite Store
"Target has all the newest DVD’s plus it’s a great place for interior decorating. They have unique designs you won’t find other places." –Elizabeth
Randy’s great love of books has to be the reason behind his choice: Barnes and Noble.
Favorite Place for Breakfast
"Home is my favorite place to have breakfast, but since you all can’t come there, Corner Café would be my choice." –Jackie
Elizabeth also prefers Corner Café. "They are known for their biscuits and gravy, and their coffee is good too."
Favorite Place for Lunch
Karelyn enjoys Johhny C’s Deli for their Wednesday lasagna special.
Favorite Place for Dinner
Nearly every member of the team cited Chili’s as one of their favorite dinner restaurants.
"Hereford House is always nice for a big time sit down!" exclaims Karelyn.
Best Fitness Center
Karelyn and Elizabeth enjoy working out together at Eagle Fitness in Liberty whereas Randy and Teresa like the North Kansas City Community Center.
Best Pizza
Of course everyone has a different opinion when it comes to pizza! Favorites include Leo’s, Pizza Hut, Kelso’s and Godfather’s.
Best Sandwiches
Chris loves "anything from Subway" while Karelyn likes the Corner Café for their open faced roast beef sandwhich.
